A Berkshire Hathaway company "The best safety device in any aircraft is a well-trained pilot."TM
Our Graduates Go Places
(62 airlines and 100 corporate flight departments)

In 1966, FlightSafety International was defining what it meant to be a factory-authorized trainer, setting the standard for safety-enhancing instruction and leading the world in professional training. In order to bring that same level of professionalism to ab initio training, the company took a bold step to establish a new academy on the sunny coast of southern Florida. FlightSafety Academy. For 45 years, it’s been our job to transform ambitious, motivated students into accomplished pilots.

Our Mission
Today, we offer both Part 141 and Part 61 training on our dynamic, state-of-the-art campus. We’re a fully accredited Part 141 school producing some of the industry’s best graduates with training that meets and exceeds industry standards. Our fleet of more than 90 single- and twin-engine aircraft and nearly always beautiful weather allow our cadets to train year-round.

Putting Careers on Track
We don’t just train pilots to proficiency. We train pilots who get hired. Approximately 18,000 of our graduates fly for 62 airlines and more than 100 corporate flight departments. And FlightSafety International? It’s still leading the world and setting the standard for professional training.
