Before you take to the skies, you must earn your wings. We want to train you to be one of the most professional pilots in the industry.

Instructor Path

You’ve successfully completed the Commercial Pilot Course and you’ve chosen to build your experience by becoming an Instructor. First, you must continue your training with the Commercial Single Engine program (2 weeks) followed by the Certified Flight Instructor Course (CFI-A) (10 weeks). Once you’ve earned your CFI-A, we’ll give you a chance to interview for a position as a FlightSafety Academy instructor. If hired, you can earn your CFII and MEI ratings at no cost. Once you begin instructing, you’ll earn a salary with generous benefits. The valuable hours and essential job skills you develop while working as a flight instructor within the Academy’s training programs will strengthen your career opportunities to become a professional pilot with top airline or corporate flight departments.
