Many people will say that they want to learn to fly, but when it comes down to it they get scared or second guess themselves long enough to not go through with their flying lessons. Flying lessons require full commitment and all of your dedication. There are many safety precautions and dangers that are involved in flying lessons. Before you can even begin training in the cockpit, you have to know the basics of a plane, the controls, signals, and pretty much everything except the actual flying. In other words, you should have the knowledge of flying a plane before you learn to fly.

Finally after your instructor deems you ready, you will get to take flying lessons in which you are in the plane by yourself and can start logging in hours before you get your license. These flying lessons are the ones that you spend teaching yourself how to fly and working on the things that you need practice on to become a good pilot. You do not have to worry though; your instructor will not allow you to fly until they are more than confident that you can handle it.
