Advertising for flight school is fun, but compared to flying, advertising is just a little snuggle. A pilot's license is good for life but you have to have a current medical certificate before you can get in a plane and fly. You need a current medical certificate, rating for the category, class, and type of plane you want to fly, an instrument rating, a commercial rating. Last but not least, there's the ATP or Airline Transport Rating for which you need 1,500 hours of experience to get it. It's the master's degree of aviation and the ATP will help you get a better job, even better than a commercial airline pilot.
