Florida Commercial Pilot Training

With the new and very rigid safety and security issues that are involved in the pilot training, the Florida commercial pilot training schools have begin to ask for many requirements that their students must fulfill so that they can learn how to fly. First of all, the Florida commercial pilot training schools ask that their students must be at least 18 years old in order to complete the training and get their license.

A student must also have their private pilot certificate before they start the Florida commercial pilot training. Another basic requirement of the Florida commercial pilot training schools is that their students must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English, mainly because this is the international language of aviation.

During the Florida commercial pilot training the students will accumulate and log a specific amount of training and experience. The training implies groundwork and actual flight experience that goes into any sort of pilot training. The commercial pilots must pass an oral test and flight test administered by an FAA inspector, FAA - designated examiner or authorized check instructor to complete their pilot training.

Florida also requires a certain number of hours with a certified instructor to get a commercial license. More exactly, if training under Part 61, at least 250 hours of piloting are required to complete commercial pilot training. The Florida pilots must undergo 20 hours of training with an instructor and 10 hours of solo flight, and flying more than 50 nautical miles from the departure airport on both solo and instructor - accompanied night trips during flight training.
