Flight Training SchoolsFlorida pilot training schools prepare those who apply to earn a pilot certificate. The training is a four-part process: ground school, a written exam, an oral exam, and a flight test. Florida pilot training schools are split into two groups: Part 61 and Part 141. The differences between these two groups have to do with the set of FAA regulations under which they operate. Part 141 Florida pilot training schools require fewer hours for the various pilot ratings. However, these schools must undergo rigorous audits by the FAA and their curriculum must follow more rules and guidelines. Part 61 flight schools are more flexible in their method of instruction even if they require more hours for a pilot rating. The first part of the training process in Florida pilot training schools is ground school. Once this is completed, the pilot has to take a check ride. However, before a trainee can take their FAA check ride, he must pass a computer-based FAA airman knowledge test. The flight training consists of time in the plane with the instructor and the lessons always begin with maneuvers on the ground. It is important to pay attention to the course details before choosing one of the Florida pilot training schools . Although all offer value for money, some Florida pilot training schools can be more expensive than others. This is why it is important to make sure the final choice of school offers what the trainee desires to get for his money. Asking questions about the instructor's experience and training is another important detail that should be considered. All Florida pilot training schools will be straight forward about whether the instructor is a Certified Instrument Instructor (CFII) or just a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI). It is, however, important to seek relevant information in order to feel comfortable with the instructor's abilities before lessons begin.
