Different Types Of Flight Training For Different PilotsPeople can take flying lessons to become many different types of pilots, whether they want to do it for fun or for a career. Those who are still in flight training are considered student pilots, but after completing the most accelerated flight training program one can become a sport pilot. The higher levels of pilot go as follows: recreational, private, instrument rated, commercial, certified flight instructor, airline transport, and designated pilot examiner. As a pilot goes through more instrument flight training and completes more hours of flying lessons, they will continue to progress through different skill levels. The rating system of flight training designates what type of planes that a pilot can fly, whether they can carry passengers, and what type of weather they're allowed to fly in. Different levels of flight training are also required to be hired as a professional pilot, but anyone who can fly solo must be certified and in good physical standing. Any type of flight training begins by taking the student pilot through the necessary requirements to get their certification. Before even beginning flying lessons, one must pass a written test, an oral test and ground school. Then they can prepare to take their actual flight test by flying with a certified instructor. The instrument flight training is one of the most important parts of the training, so pilots can handle all the instruments during flight. Once certification is complete, then pilots can continue progressing through as many levels as they desire, as long as they have the skills that it takes. |
