Commercial Pilot Training Info

If you want to be able to fly an aircraft and be eligible as pilot for a company, what you need is a private pilot training at the completion of which you will be awarded the Commercial Pilot License. Just like in the case of the driving license, the Commercial Pilot License gives you the right to pilot every aircraft that you are qualified for; for instance multi-engine, single-engine, sea-planes or others.

The license can only be issued by the governing aviation authorities. Normally, you can only be awarded with the license after having completed your private pilot training with a qualified instructor, meaning that you will have the needed experience and knowledge to operate on an aircraft. The majority of the pilots have chosen to get their training from private institutions. After completing the private pilot training, there are five different types of certification. However, all pilot certificates include a student certificate that is always issued by the aviation medical examiner.

You don't need to have any prior knowledge or experience; just make sure that you meet the medical requirements. The sport certificate requires the applicant to have a minimum of five hours of solo flying. There is also the private pilot certificate where the pilot is required at least thirty-five hours of flying (out of which at least five hours solo and twenty hours with an instructor as well as some night flying and cross-country flying). This kind of certificate, however, also includes passing an oral exam. Probably one of the best options available after completing the private pilot training is being an airline transport pilot. However, the private pilot training is not enough in this case; you will also be required to have an advanced level of English, to have at least 1,500 hours of flying and be no younger than 23 years old.
