Before taking flight, pilot school training must prepare students for the various elements of taking an aircraft up and in bringing it down again safely with no harm. There are many aspects that go into the process of pilot training, and all of the protocols must be followed to ensure that these individuals are ready to take on passengers. Aviation career pilot training students must undergo rigorous study and complete all levels of training before they are certified to fly. Flight pilot school training requires learning the principles of flight, navigation, rules and regulations governing flying, meteorology and more. There are both civilian pilots and military pilots, and there are different things that go into the pilot training for each. Many people choose to go to the military to learn the aspects of flight. Pilot school training in the Air Force, for example, is some of the best in the nation, and many trainees go on to become airline pilots after their military service is complete. Civilian pilots include airline pilots, who undergo rigorous aviation career pilot training. Entry to this field has certain minimum criteria, which involve physical health and high levels of education in English, math, and science. Before entering a career training program, student aviators must be 18 years of age, and they should be 21 and have completed 1,500 hours flight time before getting their license.
